We are providing full access to the program that we used to download our international annual report sample from Osiris. However, Osiris does not currently include their Global Reports database as part of their academic subscription.

Disclaimer: We provide no assurance as to the general efficacy of this program, which was developed to meet very specific parameters, and caution any potential users that it requires careful oversight to use this resource to obtain high-quality data.

Sikuli Code to Download Annual Report Data
[NOTE: This is a zipped file. After unzipping the file, you must open it using Sikuli. Sikuli can be downloaded at http://www.sikuli.org/download.html.]

Spreadsheets to use in conjunction with the Sikuli program:

  • Country : This spreadsheet keeps track of the unique ID number of the files downloaded, the annual report date and company name according to Osiris, and whether or not there was an error in the download. You should rename this spreadsheet to match the name of the country for which you are downloading files. If the country has more than 3000 documents, increase the number of unique IDs in the document. Insert the name of this spreadsheet into the “country” value in the Sikuli program.
  • Years : This spreadsheet has a list of the years for which you are downloading data for a given country. It also records whether there was an error trying to download documents in that year, and also the number of available documents per country-year. Insert the name of this spreadsheet into the “key” value in the Skuli program (do not include the full name of the country in the name of this file or Sikuli will confuse it with the Country spreadsheet).
